the Odeum of Herodes Atticus was built in c. 161 AD by Tiberius Claudius Atticus Herodes (c. 101 - c. 177), a wealthy Greek patron of the arts in honour of his dead wife Regilla, who used his fortune to build public projects in various Greek cities, especially Athens; it has a seating capacity of 5,000 people
