Grevillea striata
  named for its red wood and sap, the Beefwood is a large tree with furrowed dark-brown bark and the wood is hard and splits easily, making it ideal building material for roof shingles and fencing ; a red resin that oozes from the trunk is used by the Aborigines as a glue, and also medicinally
