Flood
The streets of Phnom Penh often will flood after a heavy downpour. The intersection infront of the National Assembly is especially prone to flooding. There is about a feet of water at the deepest point.
A Serious Meeting
In an attempt to prevent the collapse of the government after the opposition declared the recent national elections a null, Prince Sihanouk invited all political parties to the palace on this day for talks of reconciliation and formation of a coalition government.
Cops
With the meeting in progress, the streets adjacent to the palace were closed off. It is amazing to see the number of shining brand new police motorcycles there that were used to escort the politician to this meeting.
