The Way Out
The entry into the city of Angkor Thom is guarded by five sandstone gopuras, one in each cardinal direction, and the extra, the eastward facing Victory Gate, just north of the east gate proper.
Faces & Elephants
Four faces, four three-headed elephants, and Indra sitting atop the head of each middle elephant.
Victorious Gopura
Newly erected wooden crossbeams and side walls now protect these delicate ancient doorways.
