Jungle Trekkers |

Deep in a distant forest about 30 km north of Angkor, and necessitating a 45 minute uphill trek in the woods. A most welcomed and refreshing change from the busy temple ruins of Angkor. The reward for our efforts are the jewels in this upper reaches of the Siem Reap River. |

Some Of A Thousand |
||||
The river bed has been lavishly sculpted... a multitude of lingas are lying to be caressed by the undulation of a pure water. The lingas spiritually 'fertilized' the waters that fed into the Eastern Baray, and thus irrigated the rice fields of Angkor. |

Gods and Goddesses |
||||
More than only lingas, carved images of Vishnu, Rama, Lakshmi and Hanuman could be seen on the rocks that line the river. |

Another Jewel |

An unexpected bonus..., a beautiful waterfall with a scenic splash pool below it. An ideal place to chill out away from the crowds. |

Blessed Waters |
||||
Bathing in blessed waters... as the waterfall is downstream to the lingas. |
