| Sentinel Dome rivals Half Dome as the most-climbed dome in the Park. The trail to Sentinel Dome is 2.2 miles roundtrip. Rated as moderate effort, it starts from the same car park as the trail to Taft Point. The trail leads northeast across generally open country to the east side of the dome. Then it is a short but steep scramble up the final granite slabs to the summit. | ||||
