| Beyond the switchbacks up the northern wall of the valley, the trail to Eagle Peak is contrastingly gentle through pine forest and boggy alpine meadows. Having much less visitors, the walk to Eagle Peak is most pleasantly serene, in contrast to the hot, crowded and noisy climb on the switchbacks. | ||||
