  the famed Saturday bazaar at Namche where merchants from as far as Tibet come here to sell all kinds of wares

  most of the items sold at the bazaar are not targeted for the tourist but more of daily-use commodities for the locals... from salt to rubber shoes

  difficult to find elsewhere, fresh greens and meat are readily available here
