  the main road passing through Haba Village continues northwards across many passes to reach the Naxi mountain village of Baidi

  the limestone terraces are resplendent in the bright sunlight, offer excellent vistas of the rich farming valley below

  a beautiful time to be exploring, with flowers all about

  working in the fields may be back breaking but the farmers still wear a smile on their faces as they toll

  loading up the harvested wheat on the backs of horses as well as on their own backs
