Unadulterated

Probably the least visited gate of the city of Angkor Thom by tourists, it is here that one can get a feel of the original ambiance at these gates during ancient times. Traffic is still heavy through this gate, but mainly that of the local villagers.

Atop

The four faces atop the gate is best appreciated by climbing up the side walls.

Firewood

An unattended bicycle loaded with firewood collected from the nearby forest stands along the unsealed path that leads west beyond Angkor Thom towards the Western Baray.

Offroader

The wheels that faithfully brought us around during our tour of the Angkor ruins.
