Low Point, located between Dolly Beach and Ethel Beach, is a small limestone headland that provides great views of the north-eastern coastline of the island. The repeated onslaught of pounding waves through the millenniums has also resulted in the formation of a number of blowhole tubes in this part of the island. A boardwalk starting from Dolly Beach enables visitors to appreciate the typical rough limestone geology, and coastal environment of Christmas Island without having to walk very far. |
